Location. The Hotel Garbi is located in Calella de Palafrugell, Spain, a seaside village in the heart of the Costa Brava. The hotel is 200 metres from the village centre, 500 metres from a coastal path and less than two kilometres from various seaside coves and beaches. Girona Airport is 52 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The Hotel Garbi is a family run hotel set within a garden of pine trees, with an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and a terrace for al fresco dining by day or night. The air conditioned lobby has a 24 hour front desk.
Restaurant Garbi serves Mediterranean dishes with local produce, like Squid, Artichoke, and King Prawn Casserole, and Veal with Mushrooms, accompanied by an extensive range of wines. During summer months, there are weekly buffet nights with live music in the pine garden, and there is a poolside bar. The hotel's owners also run a cake shop and wine cellar in the centre of Palafrugell.
There are several beaches within two kilometres of the hotel and three 18 hole golf courses within twenty kilometres.
Guestrooms. The 52 guestrooms at the Hotel Garbi are air conditioned and have either balcony or terrace, parquet floors, and a decor of creams and rich colours. All rooms have private bathrooms with showers and bidets; some rooms have hydrojet tubs.
Expert Tip. Cap Roig Botanical Gardens mixes the most typical plant species of the Mediterranean with those from other continents. During July and August, the park hosts the Costa Brava Jazz Festival.
