The Katathani Phuket Beach Resort in Thailand is an all suite hotel located less than 15 kilometers (9.5 miles) from Promthep Cave and Patong and Kata Beaches. The hotel will host a mandatory Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve Gala Dinner on December 24, 2008 and December 31, 2008. All guests will be charged for the dinner whether or not they attend. The gala dinner compulsory charge for Christmas Eve is THB5500 per adult and THB225 per child between 4 12 years. The gala dinner compulsory charge for New Year's Eve is THB6000 per adult and THB300 er child between 4 12 years. This charge is not included in the room rate and is payable directly to the hotel upon check in.
