Each Labor Day weekend, more than 120,000 people from throughout the country descend on Mount Pleasant, Iowa for the annual Midwest Old Threshers Reunion. And many of them fill this AmeriHost Inn two miles from the 120 acre site where the festivities are held. The reunion and the Midwest Old Threshers Heritage Museum celebrate old time agriculture with displays of antique tractors, implements and steam engines.
The AmeriHost, which dishes up complimentary continental breakfasts, also sits near restaurants serving everything from burgers and burritos to steak and pizza.
